Golf Plus Everything Else
Most golf destinations make you choose between course quality and everything else. Reno doesn't. Eight championship courses — including private clubs you can't book on your own — sit within 30 minutes of casino resorts with world-class dining, spas, and entertainment. Your group plays great golf, eats well, and doesn't have to coordinate six different hotels.
The year-round dry climate means reliable tee times in months when every other Sierra destination is closed. Reno-Tahoe International Airport is 10 minutes from downtown — your group can land and be on the first tee within an hour.

8 Championship Courses
Including two private clubs that aren't publicly bookable. Mix and match — we'll match courses to your group's skill level, pace, and budget.
8 Casino Resort Partners
We don't just recommend hotels — we negotiate the room block, coordinate check-in times around your tee times, and make sure your group lands together. No one books their own room.
Group rates typically save $40–$80 per person per night versus public booking rates, especially April–October.
One Call.
Everything's Done.
Most group golf trips fall apart in the coordination. Someone doesn't book their room. The tee time doesn't fit the hotel check-in. Half the group pays, the other half doesn't. We've been solving this since 2004 with one process that removes every single friction point.

Reno Golf Package FAQ
Yes. Golf the High Sierra offers stay-and-play Reno golf vacation packages that include tee times at 8 championship courses — ArrowCreek, Lakeridge, Somersett, Red Hawk, Wolf Run, Toiyabe, Washoe County, and Winchester — paired with casino resort lodging at Peppermill, Atlantis, Grand Sierra, and 5 other partner hotels. Packages start at $275 per golfer and include private-club access (ArrowCreek, Somersett, Winchester) that isn't available to public booking. Golf the High Sierra has booked Reno group golf trips since 2004.
Packages start at $275 per golfer for a 2-night, 2-round weekend stay-and-play. Premium packages with private club access and upgraded casino suites run $299–$429 per golfer. Pricing depends on course selection, hotel, group size, and dates. Larger groups almost always get a better per-person rate — we negotiate volume pricing with all partners.
We have active relationships with 8 Reno-area courses: ArrowCreek (private, Palmer/Zoeller design), Lakeridge (famous island-green 15th), Somersett (private, Golfweek-ranked), Red Hawk (Hale Irwin signature), Toiyabe (Robert Muir Graves alpine design), Wolf Run (full event services), Washoe County (budget-friendly, 10 min from downtown), and Winchester Country Club (Robert Trent Jones Sr. & Jr. co-design). Mix and match — we'll match courses to your group's skill level and budget.
Our 8 hotel partners in Reno are Peppermill Resort Spa Casino, Atlantis Casino Resort Spa (AAA Four Diamond), Grand Sierra Resort, Silver Legacy Resort Casino, Eldorado at The Row, Nugget Casino Resort, Circus Circus, and J Resort. All are bookable as part of a package with group-negotiated rates and coordinated room blocks. We don't just recommend them — we handle the room block so you're not chasing 24 people to book their own rooms.
Weekend trips of 4–12 people: 4–6 weeks is usually fine. Groups of 20+: 60–90 days, especially April–October. Corporate outings with shotgun starts or private club access (ArrowCreek, Somersett): 90 days minimum. If you're late, call us anyway — we often have relationships that can unlock tee times when public booking shows nothing available.
Absolutely. Every Reno casino resort has spas, pools, restaurants, shows, and nightlife inside the property. We can arrange spa packages, show tickets, and dinner reservations for non-golfers through the same registration portal your group uses. Everyone books once — golfers pick their rounds, non-golfers pick their activities, everyone pays their share directly. No Venmo chaos.
Lakeridge Golf Course and Toiyabe Golf Club are the closest championship courses to Reno's casino district — both within 15 minutes of the Strip hotels. Wolf Run Golf Club is 20 minutes out and offers full event services for group outings. ArrowCreek and Somersett are 25–30 minutes from downtown but offer private-club quality that justifies the drive. Golf the High Sierra handles all transportation coordination so your group doesn't need to self-drive between courses and casinos.
Golf the High Sierra negotiates volume rates with all 8 Reno courses and all 8 casino hotel partners — rates that are not available through public booking channels or OTAs. A group of 20+ typically saves $40–$80 per golfer on green fees alone, plus group room rates and no booking fees. The biggest advantage: private-club access. ArrowCreek and Somersett are members-only — you cannot book them without a GTHS relationship. That alone is worth the call.
