Common Questions
Incline Village Golf Courses are two public 18-hole courses located at 955 Fairway Blvd, Incline Village, NV 89451 on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. Both courses were designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1964. The Championship Course plays 7,106 yards with a slope of 136 and course rating of 72.8. The Mountain Course is shorter and tighter with dramatic elevation changes and tree-lined fairways. Together they offer some of the most scenic golf in the Sierra Nevada.
Both Incline Village courses were designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. — one of the most influential golf architects in history, responsible for over 500 courses worldwide. Jones Sr. also designed Spyglass Hill and shaped the renovation of Augusta National. His Incline Village layouts opened in 1964 and remain among the most celebrated public golf destinations at Lake Tahoe.
The Championship Course is the longer, more traditional test — 7,106 yards from the tips with pristine conditions, classic bunkering, and sweeping Lake Tahoe views. The Mountain Course is shorter and more compact with tight tree-lined fairways, dramatic elevation changes, and a fun, scenic character that plays faster. Golf the High Sierra typically recommends the Championship Course for groups seeking a full high-alpine challenge, and the Mountain Course for a more relaxed complement to it.
