Edgewood Tahoe limits public group access — most summer weekend tee times are reserved for resort guests and direct partners. Golf the High Sierra has an established booking relationship with Edgewood that provides access to tee times not available through the public booking system. Late June through September is peak season — the course is in perfect condition and the Lake Tahoe views are at their best. July and August book out fastest, often 3-4 months in advance. Late September and early October offer excellent conditions with fewer crowds and lower rates. The course closes for winter typically November through April.

Edgewood's lakeside 18th hole makes it the most photographed closing hole in the Sierra for tournament photos.
Edgewood Tahoe's final four holes run directly along the shore of Lake Tahoe — the largest alpine lake in North America. The 18th hole is a waterfront par 5 considered one of the most scenic finishing holes in American golf. Designed by George Fazio, the course plays to 7,491 yards from the championship tees at 6,200 feet elevation, adding 5-10% to normal carry distances.
